I love this picture...and for a couple of reasons. First of all because Austin just loves the boat and makes sure to obey all the rules (wearing life jacket, sitting down while boat is moving, etc.) in order to have as many opportunities as possible! "Boat" is probably his favorite word! And secondly because his little Bama hat is officially too tight for his head, and this was the last time to sport it. But thanks to Aunt Abbs, he's had the next size up waiting on him! Maybe Nix '09 will enjoy this precious hat as much as his brother! :)
This Labor Day weekend we invited some friends to join us, but both could only come for a day. The Duncan family (Nate & Lydia, and their children Nathan & Hannah, and Lydia's sister, Naomi) came for the day Saturday, and my old roommates Sarah and Lezlie came Monday. We enjoyed their company very much! Here's some pictures from our weekend....(I'll add pics of Sarah and Lezlie when I get some.)
We are so thankful for the lakehouse and always enjoy our time there...it's our home away from home!
