I got a new pool this summer and I really like to splash around in it! I love water - whether it's a bath, the beach or a pool, I'm all for it!
Here I am with Granddaddy and Esther. I went with dad to visit them for Granddaddy's birthday. They think I am so cute and smart! I'm glad to be apart of the Nix men!
May 31st was the first day I could sit up. My mom had been trying everyday to sit me down and see if I could stay up on my own. Now I can do it so easily, and this past week I started sitting myself up from laying on my belly. It's so much more fun to play when you're sitting up!
Here I am when mom fed me my first solid food - carrots. I didn't like them too much at first, but now they are among my favorites with peas, sweet potatoes and fruit! I often sport an orange nose because of all the carrots and sweet potatoes!
In May, Mom and I went to Charlotte to visit her friend Jessica for a week. I had a lot of fun with her son, Caleb! I liked watching him all the time and playing with him. He called me "Baby Austin". I think he liked me, too. He REALLY liked my excersaucer that we brought! I guess he forgot how much fun they are....I didn't mind sharing because he was fun to watch! He will be a good big brother to Baby Kathryn!
